Kitchen Concept Design Service

This Design Service is for those that would love Hygge Design to create a unique kitchen concept for them in a short period of time. You can then take these designs to your builder and cabinet maker and be on your way achieving your dream kitchen.
  • You want something unique – We take a holistic approach whereby we consider the whole home and the floor plan to design the best kitchen for your home and more importantly, the people who live in the home. With our experience and knowledge, we create crafted, unique one-of-a-kind designs- no kitchen is the same.
  • Decision Fatigue – with so many decisions to make, it is easy to feel overwhelmed and not progress the project. We listen to your needs and how you live in your kitchen and suggest the best options, unique to your design. We also provide materials that you can touch and appreciate.
  • You’re struggling to visualize the end result – seeing your kitchen in a 3D version will give you more confidence about the final outcome. 3D is an incredible communication tool for all parties involved, including the builder and cabinet maker.

How does it work?

  • You purchase the Kitchen Concept Design Service here.
  • We send you our questionnaire where you have the chance to tell us more about how you live in your home, your budget and any inspiration you would like us to see.
  • We then meet in person at your home to get to you know better and discuss the questionnaire in detail. This meeting is approximately an hour duration.
  • After visiting your home and listening to your needs, we then set to work to design your initial kitchen concept. This includes a materials mood board and a 2D plan of your space.
  • We meet again, but this time in our studio or via zoom, to present our concept and material selections to you and ensure we are on the right track and have listened to your needs.
  • After this meeting, we finalise the design and create your kitchen in 3D, showing your suggested materials.
  • We then have our final meeting, again in our studio or via zoom. We are excited to present our final concept design and recommendations to you. This includes a beautiful collection of specified materials for your keeping, plus elevation drawings and a 3D digital model of your very own kitchen.

These are then documented to scale for construction. For eg. We allocate all kitchen equipment and accessories and ensure everything has its place. A full schedule of materials and finishes is also provided, indicating price, quantity, lead times and purchase supplier. Full service also includes lighting and electrical plans.
