Woodend Nordic

With a mutual love for Denmark and Hygge, Lewis and Nina engaged Hygge Design to create a home that feels good and intertwines their unique story. They wanted a cosy interior that provided ease and comfort – a home that was warm and welcoming. They wanted that ‘hygge’ feeling, where they could connect with their loved ones and enjoy the simple things in life. They wanted to invest in good quality pieces that were timeless, but fun too. The library wall and living room needed to feel cosy and welcoming.

We feel the design outcome is very Hygge – where it is about life’s simple pleasures and the moments you have in these spaces- it is about making normal everyday life and daily rituals, special.

What our clients say:

The additions provided by Hygge Design, particularly those in the living space, have truly transformed the experience of our new home. We definitely have a nice space here in part due to the great connection with nature through the windows. But the Hygge additions are a quantum leap. Nina said she never thought that “she’d ever live in a home like this”.

Hygge Design helped us save lots of time while providing guidance with quality decisions. Not only did having their help make it possible (I don’t think we would have gotten here without their help), we ended up with a quality result that was above our expectations. We really love our home.
